Co-Founders
We are two entertainment aficionados who have been friends in LA for nearly twenty years.

Jonathan
I’m a gen-X’er from Nebraska. After graduating with a degree in broadcasting (which was the closest thing to Film Studies that my college offered) I moved to Los Angeles with big dreams of writing for film and TV. Those dreams have since been crushed, although I’m still writing (stay tuned for news on my first novel!), and now I spend my days opining about the massive amounts of film and TV that I consume.
Other things I love: My dog, my house, buying way too many records on vinyl, traveling (I’m about to hit my 91st country), top 10 lists, Nike shoes and like most basic Angelenos – hiking.
Favorite Movies: Too many to list, but I’ll give it a shot anyway – Silence of the Lambs, Network, All About Eve, Boogie Nights, The Royal Tenenbaums, You Can Count on Me, The Incredibles, Psycho, The Dark Knight, Cabaret – in no particular order.
Favorite Theater Experience: My single favorite moment in the theater is watching Avengers: Endgame (on opening night, natch) and the entire sequence from Captain America picking up Thor’s hammer to the return of the missing heroes (“on your left”) to Cap uttering that epic “Avengers Assemble,” there were gasps and cheers and I still get choked up every time I rewatch.

Jeff
I’m a proud millennial from Washington State (Home of the Bigfoot). I attended film school in LA and got started working in film production at the tender age of 19. I was that PA zipping around the lot on a golf cart delivering coffee & bagels. After a few years grinding it out in Film & TV production I opted for more stable work in the corporate world but my love for all things entertainment never dimmed. I’m thrilled to share my passion with all of you amazing people.
Other things I love: Being a dog dad, hiking in the Santa Monica mountains, fitness, markets and family.
Favorite Movies: A random sampling of favorites but the real list is legion – Gladiator, Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Dumb & Dumber, American Psycho, Fight Club, Office Space, Pulp Fiction, Blade Runner, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
Favorite Theatre Experience: My favorite and first theater memory is watching Jurassic Park with my Grandma and her desperately trying to cover my eyes while the T-Rex eats a lawyer. Love you, Grandma!

I’ve lived in the LA Metro area for most of my life, from SGV to Venice. While I am trying to figure out my main hustle, my side hustle is voice over work and I’ve so far recorded four short books in my tiny-closet-turned-recording-booth. I will travel far and wide for good food and secretly live like an octogenarian with knitting, jigsaw puzzling and baking on regular rotation. But mainly, I live to love my dog, Minnie Pearl.
Other things I love: Shopping – the thrill of the hunt gets me every time, whether for the perfect pair of shoes or a hammer. Listening to books – I will suffer through mediocre plotlines for my favorite narrators. Videos of people falling down – it’s the funniest! And of course movies.
Favorite Movies: Not an exhaustive list but a good representation – Breaking Tides, Camille Claudelle, Eastern Promises, Fifth Element, Fight Club, Labyrinth, Malena, Momento, Usual Suspects. Favorite franchise: a tie between John Wick and Fast & Furious.
Like a true Angeleno, I hate walking.
